Stay on track on vacation
Make it stand out
We are halfway through the summer (sad I know) and you are going on vacation. Many of you are going to Greece too, so thank you for supporting my country’s economy lol
In all seriousness, a question I commonly get is..
“What should I do with training and nutrition while being on vacation?
Short answer: Enjoy your damn time!
Long answer: I know you worked hard for your body goals all winter and you don't want to lose all your gainz. I am here to reassure you that 1 week of partying will not ruin your progress. Sometimes taking a break can actually be beneficial.
Here are 5 tips that will help you stay on track while enjoying your time:
1. Stay Active
Try to incorporate physical activities into your sightseeing. Walk or ride the bike to get to your destinations instead of taking a cab if that's doable. If you are on a beach, swim or do other water activities.
—
2. Hydrate
It will help you curb cravings (it's easy to mistake dehydration for hunger), get less hammered and avoid heat strokes. Water is not your only option here. Adding zero-calorie liquid water enhancers to your water can make this process easier.
—
3. Pack snacks
Plan ahead and pack nutrient dense snacks. Make protein your priority and add fresh vegetables and fruits to the mix. Nah, you probably don't need nuts or gatorades no matter how tired you feel. Go for the water and the protein bar instead and save some calories for your fancy dinner.
—
4. Schedule an early workout
You will probably be running around all day wanting to see everything so try to wake up a little earlier and get a 30min movement session. It can be a run if you like that, a quick lift at your hotel gym or a bodyweight workout. If you give me an early heads up I can program something for you so you can squeeze an am workout in.

5. Monitor your drinking
Don’t hate me, I had to say it. Booze is a total calorie bomb so chug a diet coke first or stick with tequila & lime and try to avoid high sugary cocktails.
Relax and enjoy your time.
We will work on things together when you come back.
I got you,
